A Journey That Never Stop!

I find myself asking this question all the time, am I on the right path? I wonder all the time if I’m accomplishing my mission on earth or if I’m using the gift that I was given because it surely feels like I’m not doing anything with my life .I especially tend to feel this way when I’m looking at someone else or being compared. What I’ve found out is that I’m actually on the right path because every day I wake up and ask God to use me to do his work and guide me through the right path. When you stop worrying about others accomplishments or all the great things they are doing, you will have more time in your hands to find what it is you’re supposed to do. I do look up to others for inspiration all the time no matter how old they might be. If I see that they are doing great things I’ll be very impressed and see what I can take from them and use it for myself.
Everyday I wonder if I’m making the right decisions, I have so many dreams which makes me wonder if I’m missing out on what I’m supposed to do. One of the best advice I have received was from my old man(miss you dada), he told me no matter what you’re doing when the right time comes for you to do what you were supposed to do you’ll know, you’ll see that the things you are doing are no longer interesting and he said until then continue to work hard. I agree, I have found myself lately thinking about my future more than ever maybe it’s because I’m so close to graduation lol but I feel like I’m going in the right direction. Even though you might feel like you’re on the right path you still wonder if you truly are, what I do is I pray and ask God to show me a sign so I know. I’m taking a leap of faith with life in general.
I’m not always positive because I’ve been through a lot in life but I always try to have this smile on my face and make sure I keep going. I’m pretty sure some people are going through worse situations than I am. So when you feel like you can’t find what it is you should do with your life, take a breather, find some “me time” and look for yourself . You’ll find it when you remove the distractions. I found social media to be a huge distraction, so I often go on a hiatus from social media. There are so many other things out there like reading a good book, or admiring God’s work etc. . I’m a country girl at heart no matter how uptight others might think that I am. But nature is my happy place, just sitting on top of a mountain in Haiti or at the beach, I find it refreshing and it gives me a sense of peace.
We don’t know what it is we’re suppose to do most of the time, but when you find that one thing that you truly love, keep doing it until you’re tired of it & find something else. I don’t think the right way to make it in life is going to college and all of that other stuff( I’m not saying that you shouldn’t go to college, I know education is key) but I do think that there’s more to life. We don’t all have to make it the same way. There are so many things that you can do..

Don’t get discouraged when you feel lost, keep searching, praying and whatever you know that helps you. I find praying to be really helpful, but you might find something else, so do it.
Life is a journey, enjoy it as it comes with the good and bad because they’ll shape you for the future😘
Stay awesome 💋
