Les Aventures de Lady Sergine & Friends

When me and my roommates get very busy, it become impossible to do anything. We are also very frugal lol it’s the college student within us all that makes us this way. The bills don’t pay themselves lol. A usual night usually consists of game night or a hang at the house. But last Thursday, some of the roommates and I decided to have a spontaneous outing. While we were having dinner, I proposed we go hit the town for the night. Surprisingly they agreed, but we couldn’t find anything to do. So many ideas were thrown in the air. We ended up deciding to go to Red mango (the one on court street, 2 blocks from the borough hall subway and right across from the movie theater). It is my very favorite one to go to because the employees are really nice. We said that we were going to grab our ice cream and to go walk the Brooklyn Piers.

Just so you know who I am talking about, I’ll give you a little background on who my roommates are. I live with 5 people: I first met Aliza when I moved into the dorms because we lived on the same floor, we were neighbors! I met Marie when I moved into our apartment. Fun fact: we lived at the same dorm for a year & never met. Randy is the only guy whose brave enough to live with us, lol and I adore him. Mariah is the newbie. She just moved in a couple months ago and I think she fits in perfectly because of how crazy she is. LOL

Aliza & Mariah 😍

Mariah said she was going to drive her car because she didn’t want to spend money on the subway LOL( Weird but thats her😜). Aliza was just down for the night. So we blasted drake, designer and other artists on our way to red mango while talking about our lives. You know, the typical young adult car ride. The jokes were rolling and we ended up getting a little lost getting to red mango, which wouldn’t be us if it didn’t happen.

The night was going smoothly, and we made it right before they closed. I AM OBSSESED with Red Mango. I had strawberry and mango ice cream with bunch of toppings ($9.00) but I honestly cannot remember what everyone had. So as you can see mission was accomplished.

Now en route to Brooklyn piers, which takes us 5 minutes from Red Mango. Omg the view was beautiful and quiet, which I love. I wish we could have stayed longer than we did but it was closing so we had to leave an hour after we arrived. But we went on the little playground, and played on the swings. It was fun at first but lol I am scared of height so I didn’t do much of that. I had such a fun night. As you all know anything by the water makes me happy. I felt at peace. If you are the type person who enjoy the quiet, I would say make sure you go visit the Brooklyn Piers. Whether you are from New York or a tourist, Brooklyn Piers should be on the must see list. When you stand there looking up and across, in my opinion it so beautiful. There’s the Brooklyn bridge, the statue of liberty, etc. So make sure you go visit.

A spontaneous night out is always fun. Sometime it’s good to do regular things, connect with your peers instead of hopping bars. For all of you college students who don’t want to spend too much money: bring food if you want, because there are cute little spot to sit and eat… In all HONESTY I would go on a date with someone there.

Check it out and let me know how you like it.

Ps I wrote this a few weeks back ❤️.
