“Bless The Broken Roads”

I couldn’t sleep last night so I was watching some videos on YouTube, somehow I ended up on America Got talent show page. Which I’m grateful I did, I’ve been loving this family “The Edgar family” (wish they made it to the finals because they areeee aMazing, definitely check them out on YouTube). Anyway, they were singing this song called “Bless The Broken Roads” by the Rascal Flatts.

I was soooo touched by their voices, the words, I mean guys I had goosebumps. It takes me a lot to love any songs. But there was a part of the song that hit me every time they would sing it: “Every long lost dream led me to where you are…And others who broke my heart they were like northern stars…Pointing me on my way into your loving arms…This much I know it’s true. That God blessed the broken road…That led me straight to you”… There’s a million way that you can interpret this. For some, it might about losing someone they’ve loved or others about this journey they have been.

I was thinking about how when life is just so hard but we can’t see past the pain at the moment. What we fail to realize is through this road you are been lead to something amazing.

While I was listening to the song, I was having a flashback to where I’ve been a year ago and I kid you not that my struggle last year I’ve led me to so many amazing things. I could go on about how much I’ve grown, the roller coaster I’ve been on. Where at the moment I just couldn’t see me getting out there. All I could see was Failures, failures, failures. I felt like I was in such a dark place but little that I know, was that the man upstairs was just prepping me for amazing things.

When you see that life is dark, painful and you don’t seem to know where you going. Remember that God is right there just leading you to your blessings. No matter what situation you might be in whether is your own struggle, bad relationships, etc. just stay faithful, because sure enough your time will come! Lovebug, listen to this song and you will get the drive to continue and you’ll feel grateful. Maybe it’s me but this song made me grateful for where I’ve been.
Keep in mind that where you are TODAY is not where you’ll end up tomorrow.
